How Can heavy Menstruation Along With Clots Be Treated?

Ihave had my tubes tied 6 years ago.I am having problems with my heavy periods and occasionally late or missed periods.This time my period was late and heavy at first and thought it was done after 6 days and now very heavy with clotting.What could be wrong with me?

Hi, I think it can be due to some hormonal imbalances. Get your thyroid profile and prolactin levels checked. also do a urine pregnancy test at home just to rule out any pregnancy because failure of tubal ligation do occur. You can take some medicines like Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
